It’s Rise week!
Beth Hobbs
It’s Rise week. Beth isn’t most excited about the room or the numbers. She’s excited about what God is going to do.
It’s Rise week
Hi lovely,
Well… WE’RE HERE!! …It’s Rise week.
After weeks of planning, praying, meetings, emails, ideas, organising, changing things, changing them back again 😂… Saturday is almost here.
And I am SO excited.
That’s why we do this
But here’s the thing…
When I think about Saturday, I’m actually not most excited about how the room will look.
Or whether everything runs perfectly.
Or even how many women come.
I’m excited about what God is going to do.
Because, hey, that’s why we do all of this, right!?!
My heart for Rise has always been to create an intentional, welcoming space where women can encounter Jesus.
That’s it.
You are so welcome
Whether you’ve followed Jesus your whole life…
Whether you’re finding your way back…
Or whether you’re coming with a friend and you’re not really sure what you believe yet…
You are so welcome.
You don’t need to arrive with everything together.
You don’t need to have had a brilliant week.
You don’t even need to know what you’re expecting.
Just come
Just come.
Come ready to worship.
Come ready to hear from other women.
Come ready to make room for God.
And maybe, amongst a room full of women, Jesus has something incredibly personal He wants to say to you.
I can’t wait to find out.
Gather. Grow. Go.
Gather
Saturday. Finally! Come and find your place in the room.
Grow
Take a few minutes before Saturday to pray: Jesus, I’m making room for You.
Go
Bring your friend. Bring your expectation. Bring yourself — exactly as you are.
Before you go
Thank you for being part of this.
Whether this is your very first Rise or you’ve been with us from the beginning, I’m so glad you’re coming.
I’ve been praying for you.
I’ll see you Saturday!
Love, Beth x
P.S. We are partnering with The Pink Box Campaign and we are asking for each person who attends Rise, if able, to bring a sanitary product with them to donate to The Pink Box Campaign to support girls and women in the local area who are victims of period poverty.
